Virtual counseling is a method of providing counseling services outside the traditional office setting. Clients appreciate this service because of the flexibility, comfort, and convenience of receiving quality therapy from their home or office and through encrypted, secure video conferencing.

Some of the benefits of virtual counseling include:

1. Saves time by eliminating your commute

2. Fits therapy more easily into your week

3. Gives you more consistency with sessions

4. Gives you flexibility when issues come up

Work Desk

I am here to help you in your personal growth, to sort out emotional struggles, or to work through your unique challenges and barriers. I provide a safe, caring, and confidential environment to explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories and explore aspects of your life that you would like to change.

Trauma-Focused Therapy is a specifically focused on recognizing, emphasizing, and understanding how traumatic experience influences an individual’s mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Trauma therapy is imbedded in understanding the association between the traumatic experience and emotional and behavioral responses.

My goal is to provide a safe and supportive therapy environment for families and couples, so they feel motivated and empowered to take action and make real changes in the relationship. You start simply with a sincere desire to find the root of your issues as a family or as a couple. The next step is to listen to your partner or family members and explore new ideas and integrate them into your relationships.

Through integrating faith and clinical training, I walk alongside clients in order to hear and help in a way that brings about lasting change. I believe God created each person uniquely, and I seek to first understand the specific experiences, beliefs, and situations of my clients. By focusing on finding the heart of the struggle, we are able to develop realistic and helpful solutions together.

I work with clients who are transitioning into new phases of life such as becoming a mother, entering or leaving a relationship, entering college or entering a career.  I help empower clients through their transition to create a positive, fulfilling and self-aware experience.

I work with clients struggling to manage relationships, handle conflict and balance life’s stressors.  We discuss conflict resolution skills, self-advocacy, value realization, goal setting, healthy relationship skills, problem solving skills and emotion management.

I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, and adjustment issues.  If you’ve ever experienced this, you know how overwhelming it can be to try and regain your control back. I am passionate about helping you learn how to recognize your triggers and identify thinking and behavioral skills to reduce your symptoms. I also help you identify negative beliefs about yourself, your world or your future that are contributing to your feelings of anxious or depressed mood. Counseling will help you create a new way of relating to and understanding yourself.

Being a new adult comes with challenges.  From being newly independent, having to make big life decisions, figuring out relationships or even your career path. This transitional time between adolescence and middle adulthood is so unique and I love to see clients overcome the internal and external barriers in their lives.
