Intuitive. Reflective. Supportive. Compassionate. Intentional.
My name is Olajumoke Iyiola (you can call me Jummy).
I believe we all have a purpose! Sometimes it’s hard for us to fulfill our purpose because of how we interpret what we go through in life. I work with my clients to help elicit the change they truly desire; moving beyond the roadblocks, repeated negative cycles or the emotional trauma. I believe that everything starts in the mind and we have the ability to regain control of our mind!
As a therapist, I love working with people to bring about mental wellness and wholeness. Whether your present life feels unmanageable, or past hurtful experiences are still causing you pain, there is hope. Reaching out for help is the first step to making positive changes in your life. As a therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space in which you can share, explore, and achieve greater self-awareness. Together, we will build on the strengths you already possess to help you grow and find balance.
My style of therapy is a conversational, collaborative approach aimed at helping you understand yourself and your situation better. I am experienced in helping people work through a variety of life challenges, including: mood related disorders such as anxiety and depression, trauma and abuse, domestic violence, stress, self-esteem issues, life transitions, relationships, anger management, grief, marriage and family issues and addiction.
My foundation as a therapist is based on hope and grace. "What's broken can be mended. What hurts can be healed. And no matter how dark it gets, the sun will rise again." - Unknown. Life can be difficult, especially when you’re navigating through life events that have become overwhelming. I provide counseling and coaching that focuses on empowering individuals to move past their obstacles through intentional conversation and a renewed mind. My clients are able to achieve their personal goals and gain greater insight into their lives while managing their daily responsibilities. I feel it's a privilege to be able to join in your journey!
